As the summer draws to an end and “Back to School” sales pop up everywhere, it is a good time to remind staff about SETA’s Tuition Reimbursement Program.
“Regular employees shall be eligible for tuition reimbursement up to $1,500 per grant year for Head Start employees and fiscal year for all other employees. Tuition reimbursement must be approved in advance of the course and is available for coursework related to their employment with the Agency…” (SEE CONTRACT FOR COMPLETE EXPLANATION AND DETAILS!)
With Fall enrollments occurring and classes starting in the next few weeks, it is important for you to get your pre-approval requests sent in PRIOR to the start of your classes. Attached to this bulletin is the updated 2017-2018 Tuition Reimbursement Pre-Approval Request form, which is now a fillable PDF form. Make sure to get your supervisors signature before submitting your request.
Also attached to this bulletin is a Cheat Sheet outlining necessary steps in the pre-approval process.
